Ball tube sales talk about common CT maintenance faults and repair methods

2024-04-23

The problems discovered during the sales of ball tubes and CT maintenance are mainly divided into two categories: one is caused by misoperation, which is the most common. When the machine is not working properly, the first thing to consider is whether there is misoperation to avoid taking a detour. The second type is real hardware problems. When hardware is damaged, there are often reports of problems. Based on the analysis of the situation, locate the correct location.

1、 CT machine problems caused by misoperation:

CT problem phenomenon one: The CT machine cannot work, the scanning frame does not rotate, and the problem persists even after turning on and off the machine several times.

According to the indicator light on the scanning rack, it was found that the CT machine had been shut down urgently. Later, it was discovered that the false fault was caused by the accidental pressing of the bedside emergency switch. After pressing the emergency stop switch on the bed side and pressing the reset button on the control panel keyboard, the CT machine resumed normal operation.

Problem analysis: The emergency stop switch next to the bed is prone to misoperation. When the CT machine is not working, it is necessary to first check if there is an emergency stop switch pressed.

CT problem phenomenon 2: The CT machine cannot take photos. Pressing PRINT in the FILM COMPOSER window reports an error, and the DICOM displayed above the FILM COMPOSER window changes to LASER CAMERA. This line of text shows that LASTERCAMERA or DICOM can be selected, but when DICOM is selected, it still cannot take photos. As long as SHUT DOWN APP resets the CAMERA parameter in RECONFIG and restarts, the sorted photos in NET and FILMING are deleted from the QUEUE menu in BROWSER. At this point, the CT machine takes photos normally.

Problem analysis: The reason may be due to the fact that during the photo operation process, it is easy for traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to use the mouse to click on DICOM and change it to LASTER CAMERA. Even if it is changed to DICOM, the DICOM parameters will be lost. This is a bug in the program, but this bug can be fully resolved after the program is upgraded to 6.0.

CT problem phenomenon three: Poor scanning images.

At the beginning, I suspected that it might be a problem with the ball tube, so I prepared for correction first. However, based on my observation, the CT only showed image differences during a protocol scan of the head. After checking the parameter settings, I found that this protocol used BONT reconstruction instead of STAND+. After correction, when scanning again, the CT machine image returned to normal.

Problem analysis: It is possible that the operator mistakenly changed this parameter.

2、 Hardware malfunction of CT machine for ball tube sales:

CT machine problem one: RAWDATA hard drive is damaged.

Problem with sales of ball tubes: The CT machine's startup system self checks and reports HINV and NPR errors, which are normal after reinstalling the system. However, a month later, the same problem occurs again, sometimes reporting RAWDATA DISK errors and the problem is becoming more and more frequent. The system is always reinstalled to solve the problem.

Problem Analysis and Maintenance: Suspected of poor contact or component software issues in some parts of the NPR, so the five circuit boards of the NPR were replaced with CT machines of the same model for testing. However, no obvious problems were found on any of the circuit boards. As long as they were reinstalled, the problem was carefully analyzed, and the system was always reinstalled to solve the problem. Is there a problem with the software or the hard drive, but there is no way to distinguish. Later on, it was discovered that sometimes even reinstalling the system cannot handle it, and it is necessary to format the hard drive before reinstalling it. According to startup, sometimes RAWDATA DISK error is reported. After replacing the RAWDATA hard drive, the CT machine problem no longer appears.

Problem 2 of CT machine: SGI motherboard is damaged.

Symptom: The CT machine turns on with a black screen, and after a while, the display shows NO Signal without hearing the sound of the OC relay being engaged.

Fault analysis and maintenance: It is obvious that the entire computer did not start locally. After cleaning the display issue, the focus was on searching for SGI. Due to the high integration of SGI, the entire system only requires a few circuits, and the graphics card and network card are integrated on the motherboard. In addition, there is a CPU board and 6 memory modules (similar to regular computers). First, measure whether the input power supply is normal and whether the power supply is normal. Then check if there is any poor contact between the CPU and memory, unplug and plug it again, and only insert 2 memory modules. After booting up, there is still no response. The CPU is not easy to break, and after replacing a few memory pins, the CT machine still has the same problem. The memory should not be broken, so I suspect that the SGI motherboard is damaged. I carefully examined the motherboard with a magnifying glass and found that there seems to be a thin layer of tin mist between the hundreds of solder pins in the memory slot closest to the motherboard chip, the contact area between the slot and the circuit board. After careful cleaning of the tin mist, I installed it and then turned it on again. The CT machine problem was cleared, but I still don't understand why the problem occurred only after 2 years of use? It is estimated that SGI motherboards of other PROSPEED CT models may have similar issues, for reference only.

Problem three of the CT machine for ball tube sales: poor contact of the OGP board chip.

Symptom: When the CT machine starts up and enters the desktop, it reports an OGP error, cannot WARMUP, and cannot scan.

Fault analysis and maintenance: Based on the fault prompt, search for local OGP parts, disassemble the scanning frame and manually operate it on the TGP board. Check the indicator light and no abnormalities were found; Disassemble the OGP board and measure that the input power of the OGP board is normal; Tightly press the chip on the OGP, plug in the cable, and restart the CT machine. It is estimated that the cause of the problem is poor contact of the CPU chip on the OGP.

CT machine problem four: uniform amplification board problem.

Symptom: When the CT machine is turned on and enters the desktop, it reports a SERV AMP error, the scanning frame does not rotate, and sometimes it can perform a patient scan but stops halfway through the scan.

Problem Analysis and CT Repair: Based on the symptoms of the problem, the scanning frame was disassembled and the uniform was enlarged. Surprisingly, mouse urine was found on the circuit board. The circuit board was removed, thoroughly cleaned with alcohol, and then dried with a hair dryer. After installation, the CT machine was turned on and resumed normal operation.
